Our Story

We started with a
simple question.

Why is getting mental health support still so hard? The waitlists are long. The commute adds stress to an already stressful day. And for many Australians, especially those in regional areas, young parents, or anyone with a packed schedule, traditional in-person sessions just don't fit.

Mehema was founded by people who experienced this gap firsthand. Not as clinicians looking at data, but as everyday Australians who watched friends, family, and colleagues put off seeking help because the system made it too difficult.

We didn't want to build another clinic. We wanted to build something that fits into real life. Something you can access from your living room, your parked car during a lunch break, or your bedroom after the kids are asleep. Somewhere that feels safe, private, and entirely yours.

"If the hardest part of getting help is getting there, what if you didn't have to go anywhere at all?"

That question became Mehema. We partnered with qualified, AHPRA-registered practitioners who share our belief that therapy should meet people where they are, not the other way around. Every detail, from the booking experience to the session itself, is designed to feel human, warm, and unhurried.
